Raising Tappas

Hello, and welcome to Raising Tappas, the online journal for me and my wife, Jana, to chronicle our adventures in parenting.

We've talked about setting something like this up for awhile now. Back when our son, Will, was an infant, I tried to send out weekly updates about his progress - would have been perfect for blog format. Jana is good about sending out Shutterfly albums of Will photos and humorous accompanying captions - perfect blog material.

Plus, Jana is 22 weeks pregnant with our second child, and it's been very interesting going through this the second time around, four years later. From finding out, to ultrasounds, to telling family, there's no shortage of good material.

And Will alone is good for about one story a day. We'll devote a later post to his suggested baby names.

We'll be posting here as often as possible, so check back frequently. But since I maintain 14 other blogs, and Jana is, you know, pregnant, we might not make it here every night.
